The beginning
Hi all well firstly i'd like to thank Lulu for my diary....
Its 1 month 1 week and 2 days until I start my journey as a student  .. at the moment i'm feeling very very nervous but incredibly excited all at the same time. it all seems very real now, after just returning my bursary claim form, been for uniform fitting and also the medical so now its just time to wait lol. Having recently passed the access course(which I did full time)I am now taking a well earned break. The Access course was very intense but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would recommend it to anyone.
I will write again in a couple of weeks ....when i'll probably be even more nervous.

Well 27 days to go til start of the journey...yes I am still ery nervous..feels a bit wierd really cause my best friend who i made while doing the access course isnt nervous at all... She thinks its maybe cause i've had so much experience, but I would think that would make me not so nervous ahh well lol..... had loads of details about bursary and uniforms etc just want the 10th September to be here. We've also been told that our 1st placement starts on 27th October OMG!! after working for NHS for 10years as a healthcare assistant i'll be there as a student nurse wow!!!!! how exciting and nerve racking aarrgghhh lol

hey
i just joined. i too am starting my degree on september 10th and am really looking forward to it.
i went to an interview on wednesday and was offered a place, did feel a bit guilty though as i took the last place.
i am studying at swansea university, so if anyone else is there too - let me know

OMG only 1 week to go.. now the nerves are really kicking in but on the other hand i'm soo excited i've wanted this for so long and in a way can't beleive its actually happening.
I've just been given a load of books by a student nurse who qualified this yr so no need to buy books which is a bonus. hope all u others who are starting soon are ok and not too nervous.
Will write again next wednesday after 1st day
