Celebrations
It's been quite an interesting few weeks here with a fare bit going on.
Had my interview at Wolverhampton University and received a conditional place. Hoorahh....... Can't say the interview process was enjoyable at any point but at least at no point did it seem that they were trying to trip you up in your answers. Interviewers were supportive and the 2 tests before hand were a walk in the park. Roll on October.
College is becoming very full-on with assignments flying at ya from every angle. So many college friends decided not to come back after the Christmas break or go part-time and put Uni off for another year. Me, I can't wait to finish college and start the big school with the big kids. I do understand though because if you've got kids or a job or both and doing this Access course over 8 months it can be daunting. I reckon if I stopped and thought about it for too long I'd become quite fetal on the settee watching reruns of Scrubs and That 70's Show.
Got a research project to get started over the next few days on physician assisted suicide. At some point I will be throwing out a questionaire and hoping some on the forum will kindly help.
The wife has gone to a friends for a dinner party / ladies night so I'm home alone, watching masterchef, hopefully eating crisps off my belly and savouring a bottle of white.
