Hello :)
So ive had the open day I was telling you about. It was at Victoria House at Fulbourn. Started at 9.30 am and it ended around 12:10. I have to say, i dont know any more than what i did before going. The only one bit of info I found exciting was that our starter packs were due to be sent out end of the week/beginning of next. Well that was 2 weeks ago, and still no sign! *sigh*
Its now only 3 and a bit weeks till i start my course. Ive been and got some books (My mum treated me!) Ive got quite a few to be fair..:
Ross & Wilson - Anatomy & Physiology
Ross & Wilson - Anatomy & Physiology Colouring & Workbook
Kapit & Nelson - Colouring Book (got this one by misake - looks good though.. not as good as Ross & Wilson mind you)
The Student Nurse Handbook - Bethan Siviter

Baillieres Nurses Dictionary
and then after talking to a girl who started in Sept but deferred to March, she was told to buy:

Anyway... ive also just applied for another HCA Job, its with Peterborough & Stamford hospitals (again -really worried because of last time). Healthcare Assistant but its full time, part time or Bank! So ive applied. Only problem is that the interview date is 17th April. Which means that i will have started Uni, and may well be in that day. But ill come to that hurdle later. (its only down the road from the uni anway).
So yeah... Ive also got my CRB through, my Bursary Award Letter, and im going to see Occy health 30th March (But theyve already said im fit for employment).. so far everything is running smoothly.
Just hope my starter pack comes soon, as they said it includes timetables!! How exciting
