Life can be short

I thought I might post here about a friend of mine Stevie who died on 23rd November, aged 44. He had a very sudden heart attack in the middle of the night at home. He was a regular in the pub where i go about 4 times a week and i used to serve him in there when i worked there. Stevie never had a bad word to say about anyone and he was one of my favourite regulars in the bar. He was always joking around and asking me to marry him- but never in a way that was offensive or made anyone think he was after something else. It's really upsetting and i still am thinking about him a lot. It just makes u think how short life can be for some people. I went to his funeral and there was around 130 people there. We all put money in from the pub and bought a wreath in the shape of a pint of Newcastle Exhibition with all the colours on- it was fab. I just wanted to share this with everyone and it's changed some of my views on life and realise whats important. Hope this perhaps helps u with any decisions etc you may have at the moment.

it must be so hard to loose a close friend especially when you know that they were a really good person, life is cruel to the people it shouldnt be, hope you feel better soon chick x emoticon
