Re: Final placement of year 2 coming up... Just think lou soon it will be the end of third year! Have you any thoughts about where you would like to work?
Re: Final placement of year 2 coming up... Hey Lou
Good Luck for your first day. I was just thinking along the same lines as Niki soon it will be your first third year placement - is that a scarey thaught?
Re: Final placement of year 2 coming up... LOL arther, its been ok so far, a bit boring and quiet at times and to be honest i havent really done much that i havent done already. its very quiet and quite slow paced- we seem to have quite a few coffee breaks! i suppose it gives me a relaxed ending to year 2 as its been a bit of a hectic year. im looking forward to going to year 3 but also quite nervous at the same time. I think for this placement i will try and concentrate on learning some urological anatomy and physiology and the investigatons that are carried out like cystoscopys and TURT etc. Im still not entirely sure where i would like to work but for my management i am putting A&E down as one choice and still havent made my mind up about the others, possibly coronary care. no idea for 3rd choice but was thinking about a diabetes ward. people are trying to put me off that though as u dont only get diabetes but alot of other medical things too- oh i dont know!
