Re: passed essays hello everybody. i have applied for my first job today although havent sent off application yet as still not 100% sure with my supportive statement. Probabaly not a cat in hells chance of getting it as the march students will be looking for jobs so will probably be one of them that gets it but at least im getting proactive in applying. anyway the job ive applied for is a medical ward/Endocrinology. I got lulu to phone up for me (lol) and they said apply, but that there may be a chance I wont be shortlisted, just depends on the number of people that can start the job sooner than me. I wont be expecting lots of september qualifiers to apply as it still is quite early. i doubt ill get it, but just felt like starting to make a move in the application process! Answered your question everybody anyway! My essays one is on management activity (loads of management theory to be collected basically) which is 2500 words, and another essay where we choose our own 4 competencies, write them in portfolio then compile an essay on why we have chosen them etc etc etc havent looked properly at the marking criteria or anything yet but its quite a reflective essay and 3000 words. No idea where would like to work but gonna apply to anything that is slightly appealing. like the idea of critical care setting eventually, but also like medical. prob be on a ward for 1st job. hope that answers everyones questions! thanx for reading my diary! x
