I've just read all of my diary

yeah ive just sat and read all of my threads. by i hated that district nursing!! lol. but i am realising how far i have come in 3 years. im enjoying my final few months i cant believe i only have 3 months until i'm a registered nurse. it still hasnt even sank in that im doing this. i cant wait to step into my staff nurse uniform. all im anxious for now is the final essays ive done one but its not to be handed in till the 12th june but i have no idea if its good enough. i have a job interview for a diabetes ward 7th june which cant come quick enough cos i really want the job. fancy looking forward to an interview what a freak of nature i am. well the highlight of my training has to be a&e i have to say. and deffo the people i've met. i love all me uni pals- im soooo going to miss going into uni and going to lectures, eating dinner with them, smoking with karen whilst eating sausage n onion sarnies with tomato sauce. honestly i never get bored of going to uni cos i have just met my friends for life. everyone at uni complains when theres a 2 hour wait between lectures but i was never bothered cos i loved spending extra time with them. its been so good taking the mic out of our GF too- i mean it wouldnt have been half as fun if she wasnt there to complain about and laugh at. awwwww im gonna miss it so much. i love everything about it. well we have 1 final seminar on 20th july 1-4pm where we're allowed to take in wine and nibbles. we're doing a bran tub too and im buying for a girl in our group. i would love to talk about the job i am going in to next but i won't cos i dont have one yet but maybe on the 7th June i might be able to tell you more as thats when me interview is. the end is really in sight now - and im loving it. just gonna miss uni thats all emoticon

This nursing lark i feel has really changed me as a person. its made me drink a hell of a lot more hahaha but no its made me so much more aware of things and to be accepting of others, to stick up for myself and my beliefs, to value everyone and listen to everyones beliefs, its made me think about death a lot but also made me live for the day and appreciate what i have. its provided me with knowledge of many things which has helped people, and i can only grow in this knowledge. I feel i have matured (shut it floydy) loads and that i am a very fair and just person with great honesty. you can all fall about laughing now.

Ahhhhhhhhh hun that's such a lovely diary entry I bet you so can't wait now.

I have been thinking.....and it will be a big sacrifice for me......but...I am willing to let you take over my place at uni!!
Yep, because i am so generous and i know you'll miss it i will let you do my last year for me and even do my essays and placements hee hee.
SAY YES!! I will even throw in a pack of fags!!(although smoking is very very bad for health, so is being a student nurse!)

Well done you for doing so well and you will ace the interview I have every faith in you. Keep us all posted and I know you'll be sad to leave uni but as you said they are friends for life so thats what they'll be hun

I have seen you change over the past 2.5 years and I think it's great Your alcohol levels have grown and Threshers have announced record profit levels in your area over the past 3 years and the sales of cheesy nibbles have risen emoticon

I think you will be great where ever you end up and I for one have loved chatting with you throughout our training I have 7mths left till qualification and it has flown by you are a truly lovely person and will make a fab nurse and I send you lots of love and hugs and hope you get that dream job.

Awwww lou, I know exactly how you feel. I made some great friends at uni and I hardly get to see them anymore as we all moved away.
