wow what a flashback 4 years!!! Well here i am, home for xmas and in my old bedroom, where i wrote all these diary entries. thought i'd pop in and see if my diary still existed! cant believe the things i used to write!!! i was so immature lol. all that alcohol and trying to lose weight, wasting days off and actually admitting that i sailed through the course!! well those of u who know me at least know im motivated and willing to learn lol. Im still a nurse (not in the Priory detoxing) and loving it. I work in General medicine and met some lovely people. i even live with one nurse i work with. get on so well with the team and will be very upset when i leave. I had an interview 2 weeks ago for oncology/haematology outpatients which i was successful in getting. In the meantime Im goign to work on the winter pressures ward opening next week. just for 3 months. then hopefully starting on the outpatients. Just wanted a complete change and something new to learn. will get loadsa new skills here and i cant wait. still keep in touch with karen although our shifts always clash and dont see her as often as i'd like. cant believe ive been qualified nearly 2.5 years. wonder if any of u read this ive had a right laugh at myself and my posts what i used to write lol. wud luv to hear wat some of u r doing now xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
