Re: last written exam in three weeks time! Im so amazed at how differnt each uni is, we didnt have to do anything like that at our uni - I take my hat off to ya!
Do byou have to memorise your answers suzie or can you take your notes in with you?
Re: last written exam in three weeks time! we have to memmorise both the answers as well as the references to show evidence based care spent five hours messing round yesterday and started my second answer completely twice, but i think ive got the hang of it now, just need to start writing about the health education i would give my newly diagnosed IDDM teenage girl! wish me luck, not got a good feeling about this exam though!

Re: last written exam in three weeks time! well todays fun and games in to re-write my first answer and add in bits of evidence based care! yestarday i counted how much i approximatly had written so far for both exam questions! you will never beleive me when i say that i have written 4000 words!!! and ive still got more to do, it is so stressfull and i really cant bear the thought of not passing it and having to do it again in the summer holidays! i think that its just too much for us to memmorise as well as handing in a 3000 word essay which i havent started yet! thankfully thats not due in for three weeks yet so ive got time to play with that yet! bye suzie x

Re: last written exam in three weeks time! Hi Suzie,
I just read your post and I wrote you a very supportive answer it was something like this
"Good luck for your exam Suzie, not that i think you need it you will be absolutley fine"
Then i thaught to my self - hmmm what do i know, i havent even started my nurse training yet so i re read your post and then i thaught
"**** i knew nursing was going to be hard, but no one told me it was that bad!!"
So now I am just going to say Good luck for your exam and I am going to send you some Karma for all your hard work!
Katie
Re: last written exam in three weeks time! hiya ktq! thanks for your well wishes all the same, regardless of if you have yet to start your training! lol as for it being that bad, the only thing i can say is that they break you in gently so dont worry about that! they just ask and expect more of you each time thats all but i and you will just get through it!its not that long since i was wondering what training to be a nurse was like, i used to look at the other student's protfolios in horror! now there the easiest part of it lol one thing is for sure is that i cant wait for it all to be over! bye suzie x
