Clinical Placement Day at Hospice
Well, i've arranged to spend a day at the local hospice. Unfortunately it's only 2 days before one of my exams but it's the only date i could make.
The itinery is:
10.00am - 12.30pm Philosophy of Hospice
Tour of the hospice facilities
Overview of specialist palliative care services
Multi-professional team working
Video of the various team members at work
12.30pm - 1.00pm Lunch
1.00pm - 3.00pm Discussing patient issues with clinical / nursing staff
