Things looking up.
Sis in law had a deseased gall bladder and the root in the duodenum was a malignant ulcer, but hopefully all taken out now 
Hubby went for a chat about hereditary links and the doc is going to send a letter to a gasterenterologist (sp) to see if he needs to be cheked out too...so will have to play the waitingg game. 
Sent some sunflowers from next to cheer her up and she said they are lovely (a tip if anyone needs to send flowers to someone!!)
