On the Eve of a new life
Well, here we are! One year and 9 months after initially applying, I start tomorrow and I can't quite believe it. I was nervous earlier in the day but I just feel ok right now, not nervous worried or excited, although I feel sure I'll not get a sleep tonight!
I'm choked with the cold of all things to happen, sniffing, sneezing and coughing, sore head, runny nose and watery eyes, what a sight I am. Head is thumping and all I want to do is close my eyes and go to sleep, not quite sure how this will marry with sitting in a lecture theatre for however many hours tomorrow!!
So, my student bank account is now sorted, at long last, which was my last final worry, just need to call the bursary peeps with my new account number tomorrow, my first two payments are by cheque so plenty time to get it sorted.
My bag is packed and I actually fitted into a choice of 3 pairs of jeans for tomorrow so I know I'll be at least comfortable. Sending hubby out for paracetamol, bottled water and something for my lunch as not sure what people will be doing eating wise.
My bank called me up yesterday wanting to update our profiles and he asked my occupation, I took great delight in answering "Student"....ahhhhh!!!
I'll be back with my first day story later tomorrow!
