Heading into my 4th week Wow! Where did the last 3 weeks go??
I'm loving being at uni, loving what I'm learning.
Modules for first year :
Physiology - Found the introduction really quite tough, all about the cells etc. I know we need this grounding to enable us to understand the body as a whole though. As we moved onto the digestive system, things fell into place and I found myself remember things from the introduction week. I think I'm always going to find it tough but it is enjoyable too.
Psychology - Found this quite interesting but not sure if I'll always feel that way, last week was cognitive development and I really enjoyed that.
Sociology - I found my niche! I love it! So much so when they say to read around the subject I've soooo read in a huge big circle..lol..was like a pack horse coming home from the library..lol. I did sociology as an introductiont to study course with the OU I just didn't really know what it was all about at the time. I really love it and hope I continue to do so
Last but not least Intro to Professional practice. Presentations skills lab work and lots of lectures! Enjoying the lab work and about to do my first presentation on Thursday!
All in all a good first 3 weeks. My group is mainly young but everyone friendly and appears to get on well. I think I'm going to enjoy the next 3 yrs!
