Re: OU course - KZX100
It can be hard to keep the momentum going sometimes, and i can see your point of not needing it as you have a unconditional place, but you would probably look back some time in the future and regret not finishing it, so try and keep at it as it will be so satisfing when you have completed it, good luck

Re: OU course - KZX100
Munchey,
I like your determination, Lol,
thats a good decision really to spend more time with the family,
I really dont want to fish my NVQ4 but i will, just in case things dont work out.
I have a friend who is doing the ODP course and i had a chat with her over the weekend, she told me a couple of books to buy and start reading before i start, so im off to 'Cost a fortune' Waterstones now..
Take Care Munchey

Ps. I wouldnt dare tell you what to do

Re: OU course - KZX100
It would be a good idea to finish the course if you can. I thought both the 'normal' and online courses, started in November though and finished July? I started the 'normal' version, but decided it wasn't for me, as I wanted to do something which just concentrated on children. Now look at me, 2 months into the CFP and doing everything about adults but nothing about children!
Having said that, we do get to learn moving and handling children next week and paediatric basic life support the week after! As I've so much experience, I feel I'm going to be picked on to demonstrate
I do wish I'd finished the Health & Social Care course though, it would have helped enormously with the theory side of nursing. Anyhow, good luck with the ODP course, hope it all works out well for you.
