Re: Back Tomorrow
wow it sounds like your placement was pretty full on! I know what you mean about nursing being hard and i too am not suprised that up to 50% drop out , that said think how we will feel when we do qualify
I want to work in the community as i have had excellent experiences their and in my experience the nurses seen a lot happier in their work, however will have to see what is about when i do qualify (april 07)
cant wait and good luck with the rest of your course

Re: Back Tomorrow
Hi Julie
I actually had quite good day after all, they were moving patients left, right and centre and all everyone was stressed with a few hideous visitors. But for some reason it didn’t bother me as much as it used to.
A third year whose about to qualify said that she loved working in the community for the same reason.
I always see nurses and doctor getting stressed and angry and some of the things it's about is quite scary.
Even though I've moaned about it, I've probably again loads of skills from being on this placement and I think I can cope with the stress of it better.
