A sumarie of me
Hi I'm Luke
A 19y/o student nurse studying at Southampton's Portsmouth campus and only just found this website.
Before nursing I used to work as a volunteer in various hospitals while at collage, I also have multiple talents in acting and music etc, and have a number of hobbies.
I think one of the reason why I wanted to be a nurse is half my religious background and also seeing some of the great work nurses do when some relative of mine were in hospital. It's job that I find self-gratifying and rewarding and something I can do well and enjoy.
I have to say some of the written/technical stuff is tricky being a dyslexic student but I seem to be coping, I haven't failed anything yet.
I'm in my first year, at my second placement, about to take my OCSE on Wednesday which I’m oh so looking forward too, yeah right what ever

P.S
Some other reasons for doing adult nursing was that I was interested in theatres but didn't want to do the ODP training, as I was interested in mental health, but still haven’t decided. However I do like what I’m doing now, which I suppose is the main thing.
