My OSCE

Today I had my OSCE and I got what I most dread, moving and handling.

The whole thing went fine until the questions where I run out of time and I so as far as I know I have a reefer.

The day before a patient assaulted me, but it was too late to mention it, I had to phone a special number before hand with a doctor's letter.

They gave me five minutes extra time for the skill but no extra time for the question, where's the logic in that?

I've sent a notice of concern to the award leads and to my tutor about the situation and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

If the worst come to the worst I'll just have to re-sit it and hopefully pass with flying colours, which I know I can do.

Re: My OSCE

OSCEs are a bit unrealistic at the best of times... but trying to do moving and handling when you have an injury really isnt a good idea.

i dont know why they didnt just post-pone it for you... anyway hope its not as bad as you think.
