What a day
The past two day have been great, but today was so demoralizing
We were under staffed and the staff nurse in charge told me and another student to take charge of the team to our capabilities.
Dam I was overwhelmed, I just couldn’t do anything right, simple stuff I mean.
The staff nurse, who was on the earlier shift coordinating, must have done quite latterly nothing but sit on her fat arse, because the ward was left in a horrible state.
It wasn't just one problem but about 5 at once and as soon as one was solved another two followed. The root was from the early shift where nothing had been done.
The worse thing is though when I think back, did I do the best I could, did I cope well or just **** everything up, has everything I've done just been a waste of space because it felt like I it was going any where but everything getting worse.
It just felt so horrible and helpless, drain and depressed.
