Cool placement

My placement is in the private sector and I have seen so many different ops etc in such so little time.

It's also a very different world to the NHS and the roles of the nurse and HCA are different.

While I was here I got the opportunity to talk to the consultants about the ops they perform. I’m hopping to go to theatres there because the consultants will actually explain the procured step by step as they do it.

Re: Cool placement

I've meet one or two of the consultants from the NHS, there's one orthopaedic consultant that I've seem to seen in every placement one of my placements so far, and he gets really confused, and he always says "don't you work in such a place?" emoticon

However I have notice that most of the consultants work in NHS and in the private sector, and it also seem that some nurses too are working part time in the NHS and private sector.
