Re: My exciting life ha ha Thanks hun, I ended up doing a night shift last night but it suited me as it gave me today off to go to the kids sports day. Have decided its enough Mrs nice me and in with the new tough me!! Going to say that no I cannot do the shifts and if she drops the 50% I need to spend with her I will point out that I have been on shift with her most times but it is her who has chosen to treat me like an HCA and not involved me in anytghing. I guess I was worried about my final report but if it is bad I am going to go to the uni and make a formal complaint. You are right about being burnt out. I am trying to fit in uni, placement, travelling and kids oh and the husband and feel that something is going to give and at the moment it is me. I am physically and mentally exhausted and I am going to stand up to her and stand my ground. Sumpernumery is a bad word on our ward as basically we are used in the numbers because of chronic staff shortages. Other than that it is a very heavy but plesant ward and in some strange mad woman way I will miss it.
Here's to the tough new me. Late notice nights??? Up your hee hee.xxx
