The 2nd Year begins!!! Well it was back to earth with a bump after my fab hols and relaxation and I was back in uni today. I should say I was raring to go but the truth was I felt on a real downer and questioned if I still wanted to do nursing. Is this normal after having a break? I think maybe being with my kids over the holidays and having time with them made me realsie just how hard it is trying to fit uni, family life, and placements all together with no family help and has made me question if I want to carry on putting myself and my family through this.
I am hoping it is just a reaction to going back to uni but hey I guess time will tell and I am back in 2mrw so hopefully my mood will have improved.
Sorry to moan.
xx
Re: The 2nd Year begins!!! I know how you feel. I have felt like that a couple of times over the last week. I do still want to do nursing but it is such hard work especially with family. I am hoping once I get back into the routine of uni again it will settle down. I am sure you will too.
Take care

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping I will feel better once I get back into the swing of things. Am glad it's not just me feeling this way. The kids are back at school now and keep moaning as I won't be able to pick them up. They have a brilliant way of making you feel extra guilty because you can't bein two places at once!
Let me know how you get on too hun and hoping you feel better as well.
Re: The 2nd Year begins!!! Yes my youngest is very good at making me feel guilty but having said that so is my fifteen year old. Already said I don't care about anything now apart from nursing. Forgotten about all this during holidays!
Keep smiling!

Re: The 2nd Year begins!!! Ah yes they easily forget don't they bless them Had my first day on placement today and it was lovely and am so pleased that Ihave a goodplacement this time. Makes things a lot easier when you'reless stressed about bad placements and come home to the kids who have shaken the ketchup bottle with no lid on ha.
Well it's off to do the ironing, work is never done!!
