Don't want to start next placement Oh I am so loving being at home. I have managed to do the washin, pick up the kids from school and even cook meals. I am lovingit and now the exams are over I am chilled (apart from the looming essay)
My new placement starts on Monday and I don't want to go I don't feel I have the energy to meet yet more new people and smile all day. I am bloody shattered I need a couple of weeks off to renew my batteries.
It has been great these past couple of days to catch up with friends and have time for people instead ofhaving to rush off.
They had better be nice to me on my placement, it's about time I had a good one. My tutor inmy viva exam said I had had the toughest wards for placement so if I can survive them i can survive anything heeeee

Re: Don't want to start next placement I think I will miss cooking meals and being here when the kids get in when I start, so I can imagine how you feel... we all need a break at times. Fingers crossed you have a good placement I am sure you will be fine when you get there and get back into the swing of it
Re: Don't want to start next placement Thanks you two. I started today and was bloody amazed how well we were treated they were so lovely. Ihave been given 3 mentors which is unheard of and we can self rosta etc. I have pretty crappy placements before so I am chuffed to bits that this may be a good learning opportunity for me.
It sound very in depth though. They want us to understand what is happening to the patient and why so its a and p books out again (ARGH)
It has been mad today. FInished at 4 zoomed home, got the kids from after school. Chucked a can of spag bol (yuck) down their throats them picked up every man and his dog and took them all to Brownies. Got collared by the Brown Owl who wants me to do a first aid night for the kids!! I don't think she apprecaited it when I said oh yes and I will stick the broom up my bum as well and do the floors hee hee.
ANyway Ihave said yes I will talk to a group of kids OMG what have I done ha ha.
Anyway whizzed off after dropping them at brownies and paid for my holiday. Thankg god for Credit cards and a husband ha ha. Then whizzed home to put tea on for hubby then whizzed back to get the kids.
Phew it is such blinking hard work trying to do a shift and then family. Not even looked at my essay yet tonight but must sleep as uni 2mrw.
