Where does the time go?? Wow wee can't believe it was Spetember when I last wrote in my diary!!Time has gone so so quick it is mad. Mr Bert my lump is no more, my cold is alomost better and my kittens are chewing my blinkin feet!! Had my OSCE on Monday which was evil and very scary so have to wait 6 weeks for the results. Placement is still pants but only 4 and a bit weeks left and counting. People are talking about their electives now and I haven't a clue what I am meant to do or sort out!!??
Still comtemplating if I have made the right decision in carrying on but I think if I gave up now I would regret it but I am so in need of some proper sleep and time out to chill. Saying that I am up early in the morn so off to bed I go. It is like groundhog day ha ha. Take care everyone xxxx
Re: Where does the time go?? OHHHH i love kittens, glad the lump has gone i always have probs with them but its down to being quite lrg.
Dont think back think forward and lookforward to qualifying. Time does go so quick i am going into my third yr and it seems like yesterday.
Good luck with your future and make sure you take time out to relax hon.For the elective you choose where you would like to go so if you have any thing you would like to do, A+E, theatre,CCU, Clinics etc you would just pop this down on the form and state(usually) why you would like to do this placement and how your learning needs will be met.
Think about it as its your chance to do a placement YOU want to do.
Re: Where does the time go?? Arrrr thaniks hun. I am really interested in Gynae but also would like to have time on palliative care although only had a very small experience of this so not sure that I would like to do a full elective there. Are we allowed to work at another hospital as there are plenty nearer me which would make things easier for travelling.
Had uni today and we were given a presentation to do even with so much other work and 4 days placement. It is mad, I am sure they are trying to make us pop!
