HCA work and other adventures!
Hi everybody it seems ages since I added a new entry to my diary in fact it was way back in June!Well the summer is nearly over
and the date to start Uni is nearly here (Oct 2nd) I am feeling aprehensive as well as excited. I went for my medical and uniform fit last week to New Cross in Wolverhampton, I didn't realise it was so big. They have a new heart and lung centre that looks fab, hope I get a placement on that!Through the summer I have been working hard as an HCA on the bank, I don't know how others find their bank co-ordinators but ours are rubbish!! I get most of my shifts from the wards direct so have been working on Gynae, Respiritory, Gastro and urology. I much prefer the surgical wards to medical but don't mind getting stuck in anywhere! Anyway guys I will soon be able to call myself a student nurse for real will keep you posted as to how it goes and my battle with the traffic on the M6 which seems worse than ever!
