My first days as at uni!
Yesterday was total chaos with loads of info being given out with little explaination so everything was as clear as mud when I left! I met up with Kerry (KJB21) and she is really lovely so we have decided to share lifts. Today I went to collect my uniform from New Cross only to be told that they wouldn't give it to me as I hadn't got my ID card (even though I had my welcome letter with my address and student number on it and my drivers licence)but i still left without it  so I will have to make a special journey to collect it as the sewing room is only open for collection between 9am and 12.30pm  . I left Wolves with an hour to spare but the M6 had other ideas it was absolutely chokka and I crawled all the way to J9 getting more and more frustrated by the second  until I rang Paul (He's an HGV driver) and  poor bloke he's in Grimsby and I'm bawling down the phone to him! Anyway I pulled myself together (it's amazing how a good cry helps!) and got myself to Uni. Of course no parking spaces (they have about 20 parking spaces for 5000 students) and had to park a marathon distance away but I still got in on time!! to find that the clinical skills labs were booked for exams so we ended up with a quiz! It was good as I met a few different people. I then got my ID card sorted and headed for home (with a quick detour to Ikea!! I knew there were reasons why I chose wolves!!) 
Anyway I have 21/2 more weeks of induction to endure by which time I will need a very large  . I'm looking forward to friday night as we are having an Access get together will be great to see the girls and let my hair down!!
