Got my Uniform
Really excited as I collected my uniform today for my placement which is due to start in 3 weeks.
Busy doing my first assignment, which ive got lots of reading material for. "Risk assessment" it's a massive subject.
Oh and today I was dropped a bomp shell from NHS Bursaries, saying, I don't qualify for there child allowance. I'm really upset about this as they don't take RENT into consideration, I pay £5,000 a year in rent.
Gonna have to get a job to make up the child care costs.Ive sent a letter of Appeal so see how I get on with it.I pay out approx £120 PW for 2 children on my husbands wage which he clears £217PW how are we supposed to live on the remainder? when we have paid Rent, gas, electric, food.
They say his residual income is over the allowed amount. So in a nutshell, his income is £11,326 after tax & NI £7,000 is child care, Rent is £5,000 which leaves us with the monthly bursary to live off.
Doesnt sound right to me?????
Any Suggestions?
Going away now to have a sulk.
Gonna keep my chin up guys.
Thanks
Momx

Re: Got my Uniform
do u get tax credits as u cant get childcare but the drop in wages may bump your money up the bursary is not counted into this. worth a try if you do not already claim we get tax credits and my hubby earns £330 a week and we have three kids we get £150 a week extra from tax credits !
