Group Shoot ideas
Following the conversations about ideas for future evenings last thursday I had a think and here are a few I came up with.
Fitness shoot - as Discussed
Possible Sets
--Posing Bikini stage
--Cropped Top and shorts, free weights, excercise bike, pullups etc.
--Movement shots, Step aerobics etc.
I like the idea of high key lighting and concentration on form and definition

Jungle
Lots of vines hanging down, astro turf, plants, green gel lit background.
Possible Sets
--'Jane' in khaki shorts and top.
--Native in animal skins
--Tribal queen, gold jewellery, extreem makeup
--Studio assistant in large cooking pot :-)
And after the masterfull carving at the last shoot, a set of Aztec ruins would be good ;-)

3 models, Guitar, mike and drums say.
Opportunity for coloured gels and lots of overacting :-)
For different sets could go for different look

Sports
More tounge in cheek than the fitness, different sports outfits
Baseball,
Hockey,
Cheerleader,
Referee etc

A few other ideas
Sin City style
Go for the B&W high contrast style, silhouettes for the set, strong lighting, lots of stockings and tight outfits.
Clubwear, Neon makeup , UV lights and outfits.
Summer holidays, Just build big sandpit and get a bucket and spade :-)
Office Party, Just need a Photocopier and some streamers.
Cutesey/Cheesy, Giant teddy bears, lollipops and pink
Anyhow there is a few ideas, may not be that practical but what does everyone else think?

You got some great ideas there Kevin
Some I thought of
Wild West I was thinking gunfight at the OK corral but Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazard would do just as well
Sultans Harem ( They had a belly dancer at one of the Christmas meal I went to)
Maybe something for when the weathers warmer
Wet t-shirts, Baby oil and spray guns.

Cheers Richard,
Now Daisy Duke there is a thought to get one going.... Must confess allways had a soft spot for the corsets and ankle boots of the wild west saloon myself.
And if we organised the wet T-Shirt and water hose shoot right we could all get our cars washed at the same time, soap suds anyone 
Any other ideas out there?

Ah ha! And by the strangest of coincidences our very own Darren is planning just such a theme for the group event after next, and the good news is the barn set he's planning will hopefully be another permanent feature at the studio.
This month's shoot on 28th Feb will be back to fetish, but we do have two great models and the extraordinary make-up skills of a third model who specialises in this sort of thing. Furthermore we have some interesting new set arrangements to spring on you, so don't miss out on this one :-)

There most certainly are more Group Shoots coming up. In fact I can safely say that the next one will be "Film Noire", which will be an exploration of movie lighting techniques in stills photography. The shoot will comprise of several set arrangements that form part of a 1940's spy storyline, the idea being that we can render some of the shots into a comic strip style story board. You won't have long to wait either, as I am just trying to get hold of the perfect model, and will be making an announcement shortly.
The shot below is a sneak preview of one of the set pieces...
