Organising and Sharing Shoots...

Just a thought, but after the last group event some photographers were talking about the possibility of getting together and booking models for shared shoots at the studio. This sounded like a pretty good way of spreading the cost of hiring a model, when you factor in the model's travelling expenses, minimum booking period and other considerations. And anything that encourages greater use of the studio is naturally of interest to us. So we were thinking that a good way of organising these shoots might be through this forum, where photographers can make postings regarding which models they would like to shoot in order to find out who might be interested in spreading the cost of the shoot with them.
If you are thinking of organising something along theses lines, please do feel free to get in touch with us (admin@studio-three.org) at any time for advice, and of course we will be on hand during the shoot itself to arrange lighting and ensure you get a productive time.

As some of you already know I do a lt of tfcd stuff at the studio, I normally just share with David Eade but would be willing to add up to another two photographers to the shoot on the assumption te model agrees and we do at least a minimum of three hours f time, as a costing exercise a three hour shoot is about £80, model expenses on a tfcd shoot is normally around £20, so between four of us it's £25, but for tfcd the model does expect pics in return. On a different tack I am up for a foursome with one of Jasons models again three hours and split four ways, let me know what you think

Hi Mate

I'm up for that.

Have to be evenings or weekends at the moment as I've got no leave left. Let me know what you are planning

Regards

Richard

Hi,

I would be interrested in join you in this endeavour, either for tfp or a paid model. Do you usually go for an MUA as well?

Cheers

Hi,

Just to say that I am still interrested in this in the new year if you are still looking for someone. I have not had much studio experience but looking to learn.

Sorry about abbreviation, have been looking at a few options on my own and adding a Make-up artisit can be expensive, but was thinking split 4 ways it becomes a bit more resonable. More than happy for model to do her own make-up if she is.

Just like to add a Merry Christmas to everyone.

Best wishes
