Re: Project Roster

Shouldn't the stats be compiled first? Don't the stats often give us information during the construction of the ship? or do you mean the Deckplan Description?

ah, perhaps I used the wrong verbiage, what I mean by 'compiling statistics' is compiling text and statistics for publication to the gallery...which is too long to write in a single field.

perhapos it should be text compilation progress or something.

Lucas

Re: Project Roster

I still think the best way to describe what the status is, is to have several bar graphs showing what the status is of each section of the design phase.

I could be complete with the Ortho's, 25% complete on the interior details, 50% on writing up the description 80% on exterior details.

Each one is an independent graph of 0-100%, each one shows where things are at, and if you are currently working on something.

As an aside, with seperate ratings for each section, you could list individual artists wtih the relevant sections in the case of something like the Rendili Customs ship that will have a number of people working on it.

(Just to complicate it all emoticon )

I think you are overcomplicating the whole idea. All that is needed is the project title (ship name) and Artist(s) name. Anyone interested can then go and actually check out the relevant thread to ascertain the projects status. Something like an expanded version of the header would be ideal.

Thank you Quint, brilliant.

I am on vacation as of 7 hours from now, so I will be working on that very thing, probably tonight as I intentionally left my bank card at home due to last night's drunk fest....

AAAAAaaaaanyway, thank you all for your suggestions, I think I will be ready to update by tomorrow morning.

regards,
Lucas
