it appears that the majority of people prefer this style to the old one.
I personally like this better than the old way. Black and white is boring and I found that hard on my eyes.
Oomar Galor - red text on a black background is VERY hard to read, so no the links will remain green, which is much smoother, and also fits with the design - it is the same green as in the logo.
I do appreciate the kind words and support of the forum style upgrade.

i personally was alwys very fond of gold+black, its easily readable and looks good, though another good choice is black Text and grey Background  though that looks a bit well dull

An alternative solution still remains in the form of black text on gold background. Simple swapping of colours. We can try that, of the current sheme proves to be a problem. Until then, I think we will keep it.
Btw@Lucas: Is it possible on runboard to set up custom smileys, or are we stuck with the preset?

I think that Gold on Black is better then Black on Gold. Some how i think that with the main colors of the background being Gold, it would be to bright.

I am still going to advocate for a dark text/light background instead of light text/dark background. Maybe a gray background instead of black?

I used to have a site where the background was black and the text was red. It looked fine. I think it's easier on my eyes after staring at a white screen all day.

I don't have any trouble reading any of those, but I like the last two as part of the color scheme for the forums (it matches the logo).
Oh, before I forget. Lucas, is there any way to change the color of the buttons on the "post reply page"? They're bright grey right now and rather glaring against the black background.
