Oomar Galor - red text on a black background is VERY hard to read, so no the links will remain green, which is much smoother, and also fits with the design - it is the same green as in the logo.

I do appreciate the kind words and support of the forum style upgrade.

kind regards,
Lucas

I have deciede to take another stab at my opinion... The main area (and sub-main) area(s) are fine. It is when we get into the individual posts (like this) I have my critisums (Sp?). My beef with the gold color is that the words tend to shade in odd places. This is multiplied ten fold (in my exageration) when the type is small (approx. 9 pt. or less). A color (text) like yellow, white, or maybe orange would be fine.
As far as the color red is conserned I yeld to the emporer if my, off-the-top-of-my-head pick was wrong. I tried to pic a color I thought might work.

Blue and red are evil, therefore I vote for "it should stay as it is": Green for links, and gold for the text (the current one is a bit better than the darker alternative)

I say don't change anything. I like it. As long as it stays with light text and dark background.

I have to admit, I like black backgrounds in general (I use it for my own site), but this gold text is really harsh - especially with the buttons when creating a post.

Also - I feel it really detracts from the deckplans unless their background are also black. Now we can make the changes to our deckplans for the posting. Or invert colors on a black and white line drawing.

But should we?

I will also like to point out that you can't really see the green (maybe it is just me - or my computers...) It just needs to be a brighter color or more contrast between the background and the color.
