Weapon Sizes

I've been working on a starship for a while and it has come time to arm it. Using the D20 rules I'm able to sneak on some Capital Class weapons.

My question is this, how much bigger is a Turbo Laser over a standard Laser Cannon? The concepts I came up with, by doubling the size of a Laser Cannon (Those are just Laser Cannons in Voids Gun Store, right?), are about 11 meters long and the barrel is about 75 centimeters wide.

This sounds right to me, given that Capital Class weapons have much improved damage and range, but I wanted to bounce it off of you guys first.

Re: Weapon Sizes

for the actual weapon barrel that sounds ok, bout for capitol scale weapons there would be an immense diference in the size/sophistication/do-hickery to support the weapon. i.e the internal stuff that runs the weapon.

I dont know about the exact d20 rules, but in general Capitol scale weapons also need multiple crew, so thats something to keep in mind as well.
