A shield generator and a nubian hypercore.

Please note that official sources make clear disctinction between shield generators and shield projectors. There also seems to be differentiation of hypercores and hypergenerators.

Nubian hypercore inspired by Episode 1 incredible cross-sections. Shield generator inspired by Episode 2 incredible cross-sections.

For everyone looking for a much better and more accurate Corellian airlock than the one many users previously used, here you go:

Re: VOID‘s Junkyard

great work Void!

Might I suggest though, that they be indicated by manufacturer?

Re: VOID‘s Junkyard

Labeled by Manufacture maybe, but I think component types should be together to reference each other.
Categories:
* Propulsion (Ion, Repulsor, there have got to be others)
* Power Systems
* Shield Systems
* Energy Weapons (Void's Gun Store anyone)
* Other Weapons (missiles, mines, projectiles)
* Structural Alterations (doors, stairs, windows, consoles, elevators)
* Furniture (chairs, beds, tables, holo-what-not)
* Extras (plants, medical kits, other weird stuff)
* Independent Systems (escape pods, speeders, droids)

I'm sure there are other groupings we can come up with.

great suggestion Phoenix, and I think it's definitely worth doing that way.

What I was referring to though, was the current drawings do indicate type, but it might be a good idea to indicate which company makes them for which types of ships....or is it better to use them as universal designs?

The things I didn't specify will only be defined the moment they are actually used.

That small thruster thingy is a small thruster thingy until someone (or I) makes it for example a Hoersh-Kessel Lavandox-320 Turbo class 2 sublight drive with phased injection control. emoticon
