the panelling seems a bit busy to me, and the rivets should not be visible at bluescale, but I like the design.

Some of the colors don't seem to be from our usual colour palette and the huge difference in wall strength is puzzling me a bit.

The colors aren't from the usual palette. I don't like green engine parts so I make them gray for my work. If I do an official SWDA ship, I will adhere to the requisite palette.
As to wall thickness, I can't say. I made the side walls thicker to accomodate the doors, other than that they are as the original artist drew the thing.
