TIE/ln model WIP

Take note that this is not a model of the movie prop model. This is an endeavor to recreate the TIE based on the sources available to make it conform more to an actual vehicle. There may be minor additions to it, but it will be very close as to what we see and except it to look like.

The window.

The window is three parts: The outer frame, the transparasteel plates, and the inner frame.
Model and set references from photographs and the movie were used to complete this. This is the fifth version. I hope to God there isn't another.

I have to thank Luc for getting me to look at the movie for good screen caps and a link to hi-res pics, and to Frank for his own great photos.

And progress on this is still occurring, correct?

I genuinely believe Uwe Boll could've done a better job with the prequels.

I don't think so. Paul was developing the mesh to assist in the drawing of the Yellowscale deckplan.

Dan, when I'm not constantly updating a thread with pics means that I'm not currently working on it.

This is where I left off, on the panel lines. These lines aren't cut into the hull, but are seperate sections of sphere intersecting the ball. This makes managing changes to the panel lines extremely more easy than repairing and patching boolean subtractions, or remaking the ball proper.
