Hey all,

I know Frank doesn't post here much any more, but I just thought I'd point out that this ship is still being worked on by Frank at his site, and is looking damn sexy! emoticon

It's been about two months since an update, mind. He is doing this pretty much by himself.

His thoughts on the ****pit seem interesting - I think he's planning on an star-destroyer style open walkway!

well, Frank hasn't posted here since May.

That Barloz really does look very nice indeed. I particularly like the exterior view.

Unfortunately it suffers from alignment issues. Specifically the Deck 3 turbolifts do not align with the other 2 decks....and of course the continued insistence on using turbolifts on such a small ship.

Luc, you must have missed the tag that says: "Deck 3 is in the process of being overhauled. This image will be replaced shortly."

Well, let me explain. That picture is from the old Barloz. So, of course it doesn't line up.

I continually wonder about Franks insistance on using the round lifts when square or rectangualr ones can be so much more space efficient. But aside from that, the barloz is looking pretty at the moment.

Becuase round lifts are used in Star Wars, like in the Death Star. The MF has a round lift to the upper hatch. He's keeping with the cultural aestetic.

Just because the Death Star and Falcon have round lifts doesn't mean all ship have round lifts. Still looks good though.

Your absolutely right of course!

But that is Frank's choice.

Feel completely free to use other shaped lifts in your designs.

Have a nice day. emoticon
