Yes, well there's still a few that are, in fact, smaller. Granted, most of them are droid fighters, but that still leaves one or two that are actually manned. One manned fighter in particular that comes to mind is 3.5 meters in length.

The real question is do we go with the official length of 7.5 meters stated in "Cracken's Threat Dossier", or do we go by the astromech droid which would make the Miy'Til about 6.72 meters long?

O.K. I rescaled this to yellow and it wasn't worth saving. Unless you (Lucas) have already drawn it in the larger scale, then it needs to be started from sracth. That is a little above my ability at the moment, but I will galdly help in any way I can.

Hard to say considering the droid is absent in two of the images... that Vigil dude didn't pay any attention when drawing those things.

I'd hardly call a major part (the R2 unit) a detail... I'm surprised he remembered the ****pit.

My vote is for the droid. We just need to figure out where the droid slot is.

I'd give more weight to the Chiang drawing than that "technical drawing".

An enclosed R2 (or os ot a 7 or 8) sounds much better.

Re: Miy 'Til Fighter

well, I slung the R2 under the ****pit because of the cylindrical thing in the chiang drawing....which is (in my opinion)incorrectly labelled as a 'miniconcussion missile launcher'
WTF is a miniconcussion? a slightly less heavy knock to the head?

it looks to be about the right size for an R2 dome. If everyone agrees with that, then we can work out proper dimensions for this as Chiang intended....and there would be sufficient clearance to make it work, and the R2 unit would not be required to fly...which I am positive is an aftermarket modification.

I will see what I can do for a yellowscale outline later today. I'll draw up the ortho boxes and post them here today.

regards,
Lucas
