A droid would make an excellent co-pilot for such a ship. It would only need to "read" (digitally of course) what the pilot is doing and make the adjusments on the fly.

These ships are shielded and therefore the crews would have an extended lifespan, and the ability to learn how to fight their ships through mistakes that get their Tie fellow atomised.

Well, here's the top view. I'm still playing with the color. So, what do you think so far?

Very nice... you didnt just draw the plan in isolation did you?

Sorry Quint, but I don't know what your asking. Can you rephrase, please?

Drawing in isolation... basically just doing one view at a time. Never a good idea with ortho's, its always best to work on all the views at once, projecting elements between views as you go, that way you avoid things not lining up (clearly a problem with just about every source we use). Slower to start but much better in the long run.

Looks real nice by the way. I like the glare on the ****pit conopy, nice touch.

Well, that's kinda the way I did it. The orthos are already done (one reason I picked this one). So, I'm basicly just cleaning them up by redrawing them with as few changes as possible.

Thanks, I'm not 100% happy with the color yet. The glare was on the orginal drawing.

You should still work on them at the same time just to make sure things line up . You could use the plan (top) view as the 'master' (since it's pretty much done) and only adjust the other views when errors turn up (I'd be really surprised if the original orthos are perfect).

The ship reminds me of the Endor Forest Ranger mini-rig, how about trying a similar colour scheme...

Gotta picture? If it's brown, I doubt I'll do it.
