Pirates and privateers may not list any weapons for the Luxury 3300, but the "Vessel Recognition Chart" on page 57 clearly shows at least one weapon under the ship at center and there are two more that appear to be weapons at and near the front.
Are you talking the same recognition chart that has a “SOROSUUB” TL-1800, and a CE-2 transport that looks like the good prince Xizor's Verago? The arrays pointing forward off the bow are sensors, not weapons, and none of those should be on the stock model. The moron who did the chart mindlessly blacked out the Lady Luck. The bow and undercarriage should be completely clean on the stock model which means we have an error. Good work Grtak, you have a gift for making me find mistakes.
OK Doormat you have your first discrepancy. All references to the "Lady Luck" call her 50 meters, however the bow sensor array is not on the stock model, making it even shorter, and less than 50 meters. The stats for the stock model are also 50 meters but should really read 45+ meters because it has stock sensors, and not Lando’s aftermarket antennae. For now all this error will do is require us to revise the stock ship length in the stats, however I still feel we need to maintain an overall length of 984 pixels minus the length of the bow antennae.

I know you are concerned about space in the ship, but keep in mind not all yachts are huge luxury yachts with tons of open space. Some yachts are small vessels. Do a google image search of "yacht" and you'll find a variety of shapes and sizes. Perhaps this ship is on the smaller side of things. It would certainly make sense that Lando would want to travel in style while at the same time maintaining a low profile. A smaller yacht would help with that.
You are also forgetting this "Yacht" was designed and built by Sullustans. Ever see how short they are? Their culture also lives underground, and lives in tunnels, small tunnels. You must remember the culture the ship comes from. A 3 meter by 3 meter room is huge to a Sullustan, and a ceiling height of 2 meters is cavernous to their short perspective. What applies to Japanese cars applies to Sullustan Yachts, as far as room is conserned.

Thanks.
I've started on the JPL/50m drawing already, and I don't think it'll be such a huge issue as I thought. The engines look a bit small, and we will have to compomise on the interior space, but I should be able to fit everything in. That large nose is no longer such an issue...

Don't worry about those escape pods. I managed to work 8 550s into the 92ft Falcon model. Talk about shoe horning. . .

Would they count the forward sensors in the length?
And, I had to go back to the books (Dark Force Rising sourcebook) to read the WEG description. It says that each yacht is a unique vessel. So, I picture the ship being built after it has been ordered and any mods the customer wants done at the factory. The "stock" ship would only be made on paper with X amount of different configurations available

It says “length”, it does not say "length (hull)", but you are doing a good job trying to make an argument for a larger ship. Slay I have worked miracles on much smaller ships. It will all fit, and then some. Lets continue. It says in multiple sources, including the Essential Guide, 50 meters for the "Lady Luck", and in only one place, "Pirates and Privateers", 50 meters long for the stock model. Considering the degree of errors we see in "P&P", I would reduce its value in this study. The first edition books were made in a more stable and better staffed time period for WEG, and I find the first edition sources to be much more consistent than second edition. Having said that, I still think we are dealing with a 50-meter ship sensor antennae included. They did not change the silhouette in "P&P", nor did they change the length in the stats. Basically WEG did nothing but mindlessly copy the “Lady Luck” from an older book.

Well if that is the case, and you want to do the stock model, I suggest a bare bones setup, and let the players decorate her as they see fit, and then from the bare bones model, we do the lady luck.

I was thinking about a car brochure, they give the dimensions for the hieght without the antenna.

With a few options for the player that can buy a brand new one!

Re: Lady Luck
Thanks Slay1, but I'm sold on the 50m figure now. It will all fit - I'm sure it will.
Having said that, JPL got his 3D wrong around the rear of the ship in a big way - that strake down the side must be a painted detail, with forced perspective on the upper veiw to look right from the side. Caswell must have had kittens trying to draw it, but I'm glad he did, because I can just use his back end.
I thought about a bare-bones platform too (see my post above), but a ship this small will have too many intergrated systems for that to be reasonable. Although, the rear deck and magnetic field generator realy do look like an after-market feature, so that may vanish from the stock ship, to be replaced by a bay window.
I also figure the Lady Luck doesn't have a landspeeder bay, but the stock ship does in the same way the porche 911 can carry a set of golf clubs - it's there for the tick-list. After all, Lando's hide-away blaster had to go somewhere and that section works realy well as a hold.
I should have something to show off in a few days...

Re: Lady Luck
Here we go!
This is my latest attempt. Feel free to rip it apart - it's best to fix the outside before attempting the inside...
(I'm not sure I still want to go with JKII on the ramp placement, so I haven't put that in yet - we'll see where makes sense later.)
