OK stay focussed on this component only. Develop a front and side view as well. We will then develop the engine housings as separate components next.

Keep up the good work.

I wanted to add that mirror imaging things doens't bother me. I know its easy to mirror objects in Paint and 3d modeling software, but to actually do that in the real world would be too expensive. No external components of aircraft come to mind, except possibly engine nacelles, but I have would have to look at pictures to verify. For jetfighters with two engines, the engines of course are not mirrored and I hope you can understand why that would not be cost effective.
This probably isn't a problem and no one's work has to be scrapped because of it, but it is something to keep in the back of your mind that's optional to use.

Progress?

No not really. Between christmas shopping, work and fmaily/church obligations I havn't had much time to work. I have spent sometime thinking about it, but very little drawing. Sorry.

Maybe later this week I'll get a little work in.

Plus the side view and the top view dont match worth...well several words I won't say here.

I can think of several words:

"Tim Bobko has no 3D orthographic skills."

OK here is the fustration filed version. Where as the top view took only bout 5 hours, the side view has nearly 24 in it, mostly done two weeks ago, during a 10 session one night (work was super slow)

I like what you have done so far. Now comes the hard part. You must create a hybrid of both views. Bobco created 2 completely different ships, and now you must find the middle ground.

I suggest working from the largest structures down to the smallest.

I also think all the greeblies on the neck are because the ship in the "STAR WARS Adventure Journal" was a used, and thus a modified ship. We do not see the greeblies in the"Stock Ships" version, so I suggest you forget them all together.

Frank, I'm not sure how much less "fat" in the back I can make it without some major sacrifces (those laid out in the email).

As for the rest of you lot, please fire away.
