Is there an original image for this building, or did you develop it from the description alone?

Nice write up Kenposan.

a couple of things though....on a building of this size, there should be floors dedicated to shopping and office space...especially as this woer is likely more than 750 metres tall

I would think it is likely on Coruscant....but I am probably wrong.

its not listed in the book, its for the GM to place where ever he needs it really.

I believe he included it listed services are available on main floor, room service would charge extra of course.

The building is from Hideouts and Strongholds and there is an image of it, actually two.
Here is the one I worked from.

The other shows the whole floor. The apartments simply repeat as in my image.

I hear what you are saying but the text doesn't show that. The lobby floor is the only one that has services, the rest are residential. But hey, that be WEG for ya. emoticon

I also think it is more like 900 meters (3 metes per floor [allowing for space between floors)x 300 floors).

I may tackle a lobby and a generic office floor just for fun, haven't decided yet.

mwolfe- too many untrained wookies?? In the CORE? The only wookies in the Core ARE carpets!! LOL

lol,
not likely, there are plenty of wookies who are running rodshod around the core, a few wookie bounty hunters are even allowed on coruscant.

I would doubt it being core, theres no service lifts, that means the folks in the lifts have to suffer with taking the lift with staff, droids, and the like,if it was core this would be at best a lower middle class complex.

Re: StarTower Residences

WEG does not understand the kind of design necessary for a super-tall building. A 900m+ building should have six to eight skylobby levels to allow for quick turbolift service (could you imagine the travel time if you lived on the 200th floor, and had to stop at every floor on the way up?) There should also be several technical services floors that each service a segment of the building to provide climate control, power distribution, communication services and the like.

Kenposan- you may want to make the lower floors wider than the upper ones to mitigate the somewhat ridiculous needle shape of this building.
