Re: CEC YT-1760: WIP
yes, yes, I know.
I've been wanting to get back to this for the last couple of weeks, but what with one thing and another (some site maintainence things i'm doing, and mainly Uni) I never really have the time.
The major non-Uni drain on my time should be gone after this coming weekend, and hopefully i'll have my computer working for more than 15 minutes at a go by then as well, so look for some updates soon...ish.
I definatly want to finish this, its simply a matter of getting enough time to do something meaningfull.

no worries Myka. I hope that things in your life work out. we eagerly look forward to progress on this ship...it really is excellent work, and I really hope you are not discouraged. There is no pressure for you to produce, I just hope that everything works out for you.
All the best,
Lucas

Re: CEC YT-1760: WIP
First off i apologize for being new to the game of deckplanning and not knowing too much about this but i think ill learn alot from you guys...so to kinda showcase my amature abilities here is a mod done of one of myka's early concepts of the YT-1760:
as you can see i took all the crew spaces and put them in a straight line and expanded the cargo bays a little bit in the process. very little privacy but its a very little ship. i fiddled with the cargo lift and entry ramp and realigned the exterior to match the mods. i didnt mess with the machinery on the basis of me not knowing what the hell is what. im still not too sure which c ockpit module im gonna use but i kinda like the unconventional looking one attached to it. im currently looking into light armament...maybe a medium blaster or light laser cannon at the most.
when i was first eyeballing the thread i noticed how during the build-ups the ship was coming to resemble the Serenity off of Firefly more and more...done on purpose?
dont beat me too hard but tear it up guys...i know you all can find sommat wrong with it

Re: CEC YT-1760: WIP
Welcome to the SWDA, Intellivore!
I don't know about deliberately finding something wrong with stuff...but that is some nice work on the yt-1760. that interior layout is very nice indeed.
I won't pull it apart, as this project currently belongs to MykaDragonBlue and it is still very much a WIP.
Can I suggest trying your hand at one of our unassigned projects? Of course, the decision is yours.
kind regards,
Lucas
