Re: Monorail

In one of the Star Wars games on the Gamecube, you have to escort a monorail train, that leaves the Maw Installation until it reaches the extraction point where a shuttle picks up the escaped prisoners.

I know it’s a little late, but here are a couple of Star Wars train examples:

Re: Monorail

Nice revisions, ken! emoticon

These floorplans look a lot more feasible now. About the only thing I might do differently is take away the lower fringes on the front view (where the skirting goes in underneath the rail), but overall I really like it. Adding the skylights in the lounge car is a nice touch.

And I'm always glad when someone finds one of the archive links useful... makes it worth the effort. emoticon

Re: Monorail

Servo,

I hear what you're saying about the flanges. I put them there without any sources to support that design and then found a great maglev sight that had the same design. After that, I decided to keep it.

I knew you would say that. I don't actually play the game, I just like to draw stuff. Give me some time, I'll come up with something.

I just saw that.

quote:

The 8-X unirail train was manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards. If equipped with the standard 15 cars), the train measured 320 meters long, carried 90 passengers per car, and held 1 metric ton of cargo.

Don't use THAT as an example Ken... 1 metric tons of cargo? What is that? A canoo? If you intend to do a cargo-variant bear in mind that a normal cargo train-waggon holds about 100 tons.

Just wanted to warn you. emoticon
