Redscale R-41 Starchaser WIP...
I think this design used for the XWAupgrade is much better when trying to to a deckplan of the ship than the blocky-low-detail model that used Totaly Games in the X-wing series.
But is just my point of view. This could be a Modified version of the stock starshatter.

The model is 13.91 meters in Length. Still big but the pilot don't seem dwarfed in the interior of ****pit.

I recomend aplying the principals I discussed in the Cloakshape Fighter Thread to this ship, and you may find that there is still plenty of development yet to be done. I agee, a very nice start, but a start is far from a finished product.

I actually did my own version of the R-41 Starchaser years ago for a character I played in a a campaign.
I pictured it more of a long-range escort fighter. Room for a bunk and such. A tiny cramped cabin.
I even did some sketches of the how limited the head room would be in the cabin upon demand from the GM.

The R-41 Starchaser
The R-41 Starchaser was released to the mainstream marketplace just shortly before Admiral Zarrin's mutiny against the Empire. FreiTek used this increased attention lavished upon starfighters to their great advantage. It, however, was not to last.

This coupled with the company's over-expansion into non-starship areas, bad management decisions and a hostile buy-out by rival cooperation Fireworld Stardrives, caused FreiTek to fall apart faster than a Death Star. The remaining stock on hand was bought up and liquidated, and all FreiTek capital went to silence creditors.
Despite the parent company's financial implosion, the Starchaser sold in enough numbers to be a moderately common ship, and can be found plying the space-lanes even now.
