Re: Bluescale R-41 Starchaser WIP

As crappy as it might be. I found an old old OLD original rough-cut deckplan for an R-41 that I did probably 7 or 8 years ago. Took some digging. I cleaned it up slightly. But this shows the style I was using at the time (1 pixel = .1 meter) and was going off the listing off 15 meter length.

I still like the concept. Since the size varies greatly from source to source (in the non-flight sims it appeared in, it appeared kinda small)

Dunno, whatcha think?

Hrm. probably should've cropped it but its nearly 4 am. I'll fix it later.

The Starchaser is a Starfighter. I can see no reason whatsoever, why it should have a bed. emoticon

It was the original ideas I had for it long ago.

Based off its apparent size. It seemed larger then a "mere-starfighter" in the flight sims.

I'm going to add my voice to this; while the Starchaser may not be, there is room in Star Wars for a long-range fighter with a rotating crew. It would be cheaper than fielding a heaver class of ship.

...I was under the impression that FreiTek was a new company....formed after the Battle of Endor....and was only responsible for the production of the E-wing (at least canonically)....not to mention that the Starchaser...was a contemporary of the Z-95 Headhunter (a venerable design, approximately a century old)...and T-wing Interceptor....if that's the case...it would make it unlikely that FreiTek was the originator of the design....

I was under the impression, that the Starchaser was from Hoersch-Kessel Drive Yards. emoticon
