Then it would be a HUGE bridge. More like... an ISD strategic command center. Given the ships scale, it is just too big to be the bridge, even though the original artist probably intended it to be the bridge. Similar problem as with Carrack Cruisers and Gamma assault shuttles. Insanely huge pseudo-bridge-windows.

...perhaps the window encompasses 2 or more decks?

....it might make for an interesting layout...

Wait a minute... I was getting confused again. emoticon

Thanks for reactivating my brain.

I always have that image in my mind with the falcon on the back of that ship. I should really stop using that as my pictured scale. It just doesn't work and it does neither fit the stats, nor the scale we have set so far.

So the bridge will of course work with that big window.

...uh-oh...I think whatever re-activated your brain...overloaded my positronic relays...because now...I...am confused...will that window work for a ****pit/bridge....or won't it?

...maybe it could be a large crew lounge, instead...with a roller disco...or something...

It will work as a bridge. The funny thing is:

If the front window is too big for a bridge, the size of the other windows means the ship itself is HUGE.

If the front window is NOT too big for a bridge, the size of the other windows is... frelling small.

We will have to think about that. Strangely small windows are much less of a problem than strangely big ones.

By the way: Could someone please link me the ORIGINAL texture of that ship from the game where it made its first appearance? I know it is somewhere, but I can't fint it.

thatwindow size issue is going to be an interesting dilemma to fix. many of thge game model images have disproportionate window sizes, as Void explained. I am confident we can find a useful compromise.

the link to the reference images I grabbed is;

Eventually, most things can be done with some tweaking. Making the things that are too big slightly smaller and the things that are too small slightly bigger.

What bothers me most are these... things on the sides. These giant paddels. They just don't seem right as loading ramps to me. But that might just be me.

maybe they are retractible stabilizers? seems silly I know. I agree, a cargo door would be better if it were rectangular.

Anyone else have any ideas what they could be?

...maybe they're both....it could be like the Incom Y-4"raptor" Transport....with retractable atmospheric stabilizers....

...and they could double as loading/unloading ramps...because they close over the loading bay doors...

...'n stuff

...well...that's what I would do...
