Re: A new Moderator has joined our ranks! Welcome....

I hate to have to say this, but I was too hasty re-assuming this Moderatorship. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing during the WW situation. I only have so much time to allocate to myself and to the internet, and that amount of time isn't going to increase anythime soon. I have my art gallery board that needs my attention, and I have plenty more to sort through, scan, and upload, and post.

I can't do that and keep my attention here at the same time, so I have to choose. I'd rather be an Admin of Hell, than a Mod in Heaven. emoticon
So I'm handing back the Moderator position. It's not like moding this place is back-breaking business, but I don't really need to be a Mod. I don't need to be a Mod to give advice or suggestions. I can do that in the appropiate forum.
I haven't taken an active role in any leadership decisions, because it's not something I'm really interested in doing. It's a Triumviate and me. I think you guys are doing fine. I don't add any special ingrediant that sustains the forum, so its not going to collaspe if I'm not a Mod. Would be very big-headed of me to assume otherwise.

I don't need special status to enter and post within the Admin section. I shouldn't be privy to what other members aren't. There is nothing going on in there that demands my attention. I don't need to be a Mod, and I don't need access to the Admin section as a regular member.

I don't think I've ever done anything to deserve Moderator status except be Luc's friend. Favoritsm isn't often seen as a good thing. I was reluctant to accept the position from the start.

So I got my own board to run, and I've got other projects not Star Wars or deckplan related that I work on from time to time. Those are more important to me than being a Moderator. This doesn't mean I'm leaving, or not posting new art, just that I don't want the title anymore, and I'm not likely to change my mind and resume it some time in the future.

Please oblige me.

You played a LOT of 'lights on, lights off' when you were young, right? emoticon

Sorry, just kidding. If you don't want to be a mod, nobody blames you. Since we are not buried under a landslide of modding work anyway, you don't even let us standing in the rain. emoticon
