Are you guys aware of the trick when using the eraser in Paint to swap one colour for another?

If you set the primary colour as the one you have and the secondary as the one you want to change it to, then use the right mouse button it'll erase the primary leaving the secondary colour.

A handy little trick I think anyway.

Did I forget to mention that one?

Well if you use the right mouse button, your eraser functions as a color changer. The foreground color will be changed to the backgorund color depending on what is selected on the palette. emoticon

Don't think it was posted here before but it is on Frank's website. Used it to change my pink V-35 to black after tracing out the original image. Saved me a boat load of time.

Secret 10x Zoom

Did you know you can zoom to 10X magnification on MS Paint?

1) Click on the zoom tool
2) On the list of available zoom settings, click on the few pixels between 8x and the bottom 3D hilight line.

The space is very small, so just keep clicking in the area until you get it. To make it work easier, try it when you already have the image set on 8x zoom, so when it works you'll notice the image gets even larger.

Have fun you people with large monitors and very high screen resolutions. Now you can work on tiny details without going blind.

Select "save for web" instead of "save". Then you can control how the color palette is managed.
