Orlean Star Explorer: The Star Cab

This ship is ANCIENT. The fluff text description in Galaxy Guide 8: Scouts says it dates from a time before hyperdrives were completely reliable, making it thousands of years old. It's also described as 'easily the oldest class still in service today. Now the CSA uses 3,000 year old dreadnoughts in their fleets and there's at least one example of a 10,000 year old battleship that's been converted into a space-going casino.

So anyway, here's the 64 billion credit question: If you gathered a group of design engineers together, handed them the complete schematics for the Star Cab, and gave them the directive to 'make sure it still looks like a Star Cab on visual inspection, but update it to cutting edge post-Swarm War military-grade technology', what would the result look like in D6 stats terms?

Sensors would pick it out of a line-up easily. I suppose it could be done, but why make such a compromise, a new purpose built ship would be cheaper.

If you have the money to custom-build a ship, it doesn;t much matter what it looks like, now does it? Some people simply like the look of certain ships.

If it was just upgraded (not having the stats available at this time): for a quick upgrade, multiply everything by 3 or increase everything by 3 steps.

More indepth:
Half the crew
Hyperdrive Multiplier x2 or x3 backup x10 or x12 (maybe even having a secondary Hyperdrive)
Shields of 3d (with possibly even some Mon Cal style backups)
Space Speed of 4 to 6

I would also stick on 4 TIE fighters attached to the hull of the ship, as an escort.
