Well, I don't RPG in person anymore and haven't in several years... PBeMs are pretty much my standard fare.

I think I would be happy with once a month, but right now I am playing a few times a year.

Well I'm new here sorta, but I suppose it's appropriate that I found this place while researching to GM. I platoon run a D6 Star Wars game with a few friends, and also run occasional other games. The deckplans alliance has been by far the best resource I've ever stumbled across. Thanks guys.

Welcome Andres...

I highly recomend this book if you are a new GM. I was reading it today. I have been Game Mastering varrious RPGs for over 20 years, and I still find this book useful.

Actually I've been doing it for a while, but just recently got the Star Wars stuff back out at the request of an old friend and some new fans. I agree that's a great book, I bought two copies: one for me, and one for one of the new guys. emoticon

Re: How often do you RPG

One regular campaign session on every saturday, unless something comes in the way. I am a freelancer and if there is work that needs me to work through the weekend,... well, then I work through the weekend, sometimes consuming huge quantities of tea, coffee and energy drinks to cancel that annoying delusion of my body that it would need sleep.

In addition, we have an IRC and Skype run campaign that tends to run 1-3 sessions a week, but since it is chatbased single sessions tend to be as short as a few hours in the evening.
